Facebook to Metaverse

Not too long ago Facebook changed their name to Metaverse. The intention behind this was due to their expansion beyond social media. This change was also to help separate themselves from the constant attack they face from how they conduct business. The name change is interesting and immediately after Zuckerberg’s announcement of Facebook’s new name, twitter users took the opportunity to state how they refused to call Facebook by a new name. That being said, I’m excited to see if the name actually catches on amongst the public.
