Starting in early 2021 through 2022, the Van Gogh Immersive Experiences has brought new ways to experience Vincent Van Gogh’s art work. These museums project Van Gogh’s most famous works on the floor, walls, and ceilings of the museums making it feel like you’re living in the world that he imagined. Normally, museum-goers are not allowed to touch the artwork around them creating a natural barrier between the art and the viewer. However, in the immersive experience, participants are invited to touch and interact with the space around them, thereby removing this barrier. They are being held in a number of cities across the US, including Philadelphia through December. If you’re interested, tickets are selling quickly, so make sure to buy them soon.
