Squid Game, Anybody?

I’m sure everyone has heard about Squid Game, right? I binge-watched the series this week, and I thought that besides its enthralling plot, the set design was also amazingly done. In the video, Chae Kyung-sun, the art director of Squid Game, explains the reasoning behind the way the set was designed. After listening to her explanation, I developed a new found appreciation for the way the set design is not only captivating, but also holds a lot of meaning that pertains to the lives of the characters; it definitely attests to the importance of design in effectively conveying the overall message of the show.
