Recently, Epic Game announced its collaboration with fashion giant Balenciaga and launched its digital fashion show on September 20, 2021. Four of the most popular characters in Fortnite – Doggo, Ramirez, Knight, and Banshee – are featured in the real Balenciaga Fit Set. These Fit Sets include not only outfits but also bags, pickaxes, gliders, warps, and other accessories, which were inspired by archival Balenciaga looks. Players can purchase these fashion items virtually in Fortnite and in Balenciaga stores.

Hey Sunny! This is a pretty wild concept. It’s so cool how fashion is functioning as a bridge between virtual and physical. It also feels like a merging of reality and digital since the fit sets exist in both realms. It is also cool to see the union of graphic design and high fashion in seeing the animated renderings of the Balenciaga pieces. Cool post!
