Dedouze, an Experimental Animator

As I was scrolling through TikTok, as I love to do, I discovered an amazing artist! I will link his page here: https://www.tiktok.com/@dedouze

What I find so unique about his work, however, is how he incorporates 3D elements in his work! While working on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, I struggled with developing art from a completely flat, 2-D base. My previous experience with digital art allowed me to easily build color and layers to establish depth, but I had to think differently while working with this new medium.

As such, I cannot imagine how difficult it must be to create artwork from a 3D perspective. I know that there are artists now who can make artwork with the Oculus Rift, but this artist is using similar tools as a regular illustrator to make pieces that can bend and turn (and still look amazing)! I will link a couple videos below showcasing some of these unique pieces!
