I had the honor of working on the editing crew of this amazing production (which played three times this past weekend). Due to the unique circumstances provided by Covid-19, the production was made movie musical style, in which the actors pre-recorded their singing, filmed themselves acting, and the editors pieced everything together .
I was grateful to have this experience, and it gave me an opportunity to experiment with Premier Pro. I learned about masking, audio editing, editing green screens with the ultra key, and even uploading sequences to a Team Project!
I can also now appreciate the editing process a little bit more. The process is so complex, and it takes so much creativity and hard work to piece together components in a comprehensive and visually appealing manner.
To everyone who did not have the chance to watch it, you missed out. And even though the current situation is not ideal (and I am sad about our inability to be on campus right now), I am grateful to be given this unique opportunity to experiment with the program! Hopefully I can use the skills I acquired for the upcoming project!

Wow, I remember reading this book in middle school! Such a cute story, I’m sorry that everything didn’t turn out as planned but very cool that you guys found a way to make it work.
