Marilyn Monroe by Salvador Davi at The Salvador Dali Museum

I recently came across this article discussing the influence of art on architecture when I stumbled upon this image which reminded me of the Dada Composite project we did earlier on in class. The way that Davi thoughtfully placed each of the objects in this image creates the overall perception that it is a portrait; if you look close enough, the framed paintings on the wall have an eye each hidden within them. I found this particularly interesting as it made me think about the placement of each of my objects in my own collage, and the significance that those positions had.
