For this week’s blog post, I was very much inspired by Sarah’s blog post from a couple weeks back where she shared her own bullet journal. I also happen to be an avid bullet journal-er, but instead of the classic pen-and-paper approach, I bullet journal completely digitally. Using the app Goodnotes 5, I make use of a lot of collaging and was, therefore, heavily reminded of our current project, Dada Composites, and the article, “A Visual Remix”. As stated in the article, collaging is “collecting and arranging photographs that they have found online. These artist- collectors, in placing one thing next to another, create a third thing — and this third thing, like a subatomic particle produced by a collision of two other particles, carries a charge.” After reading the article, I realized that my bullet journal was exactly the “third thing”. I did not need to take new pictures or create new images; the unique combination of images that I selected generates an entirely new image. Below, I have attached a few screenshots of my bullet journal from the past few months.

Wow, these are so beautiful! I love the cover pages for the months! So I look at the bullet journal tags from Instagram and these look like it just came from it. These are seriously bullet journal goals right here! I love the set color scheme you have for each month. Looks so good!!

I love the cohesion across all three spreads! The pictures and colour palettes work so well together.
