As I was thinking about how to use color in our Invisible Cities I found painting by Joan Snyder called “Weeping Cherry Tree & Thee.” In the picture, she used paint drips to convey the idea of blooming cherry tree and blocks to create a landscape behind it. A lot of her other works also use paint drips and color to create beautiful sceneries. https://www.twocoatsofpaint.com/2020/09/joan-snyder-painting-from-the-inside-out.html
