Music is typically envisioned as an audio-focused expression of art; however, American Singer Sufjan Stevens, as many artists before him have, produced sounds heavily influenced by iconography. Going down a rabbit hole of religious iconography and unique geographies, Stevens was inspired to produce atmospheric, purposeful music.
