Stephen Westfall is an artist that is passionate about exploring planar geometry, yet pushes the geometry to abstraction. His art challenges predictability with a complex color palette and seemingly random lines and intersections. I really enjoyed how Stephen challenged the idea of mathematics and perfection with randomness and unpredictability. His pieces don’t necessarily feel natural because of their rectilinear nature yet there don’t always seem to be definitive patterns. Below is an article that talks more about his work and displays some of his other pieces.
