What does it mean to be a creative person? Why do so many people believe they lack it? Why do I believe I’m uncreative? These are all questions I had after watching Solange’s Don’t Touch My Hair music video. The video has simple, plain outfits and bright environments while she sings and highlights her hair in different styles and beads. The response to this video was a positive one that generated comments discussing the creativity, authenticity and uniqueness of the creation. The pauses, the transitions, the timing was impeccable. The video isn’t just about hair. It’s about preserving who you are and praising your style and look, for you.
