Meet Ruby Silvious, a visual artist based in New York. In 2016, she released a book called 363 Days of Tea: A Visual Journey on Used Tea Bags, which compiled the paintings she has done on tea bags. As a part of her work, Ruby Silvious repurposes everyday objects, and one day, she decided to create art with teabags as she drank tea with her sister.
As someone who very much enjoys tea, I really enjoyed looking through her teabag paintings, and I hope to find more artists who incorporate tea into their works!
