I just read a book called A Visit from the Goon Squad— it was really good and it’s the type of book where each chapter touches on the life of a different character. The reason that I wanted to write a blog post on this book is that one of the last chapters takes a form that I’ve never seen before in book format. It is basically a series of Powerpoint Slides that act as a diary for one of the characters. I have attached a picture of one of these slides below:

I thought this was interesting because it blurs the boundary of what is expected from a book. On top of that, you would never expect such a set of slides to be so persuasive to the reader as this set of slides was to me!
