I found this cool article in a magazine around my house about a designer named Nicole Gibbons. She basically creates new paint colors and is one of the first to create stick-on paint swatches. It was interesting because she explains that she never expected to become a designer (in fact, she thought she was going to be a doctor), but it just kind of happened, and her passion took over. While I was reading, I started thinking about when one can start calling themself a designer.
Do they have to go through training or is it just something that happens over time as you start to create more things? I thought this was an interesting question to explore, just as exploring the difference between art and design was. I loved finding this new designer!
