I apologize in advance.

As we embark on our color theory journey, I thought that it might be a good idea to get the creative juices flowing. And what better way to do that than by watching my favorite puppet/animation/comedy/horror series: “Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared?”

“Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared” (2011) – Created by Becky Sloan and Joseph Pelling

Now that you have watched the video, ask yourself: what exactly is creativity, according to the DHMIS universe?

Simple. All you have to do is use your mind to have a good time. You’ve got to listen to your heart, the rain, and the voices in your brain. Maybe I’m being overly optimistic, but I believe that we can all do that.

Just remember, at all costs, that green is not a creative color. Stick to blue and red.

I remember this Youtube video – I haven’t thought about this in soooo long! It’s kind of crazy and amazing that we can relate it to our next project!
