As I was looking to find inspiration in design for our hyperlocal object icons project, I came across Joe O’Donnell’s unique illustrations. The consistency in line weight and wavy lines allow him to create designs that are clunky, colorful, yet humorous. While he began with static digital illustrations, he has recently expanded to dynamic illustrations, physical sculptures, and adding soundtracks too.
