Last month, I was walking down Walnut (around 36th) and saw two trucks pull up with LED light signs showing huge font with messages related to the upcoming election. I snapped a photo because I thought it might be part of Jenny Holzer’s “Vote Your Future” project, which I’d included in my presentation just a few weeks before that. I’m pretty sure they were, as the Jenny Holzer instagram account posted about being in Philly soon after. It was a serendipitous instance of seeing a lot of my life collide–the presentation and this class, Penn’s campus, the election–when I wasn’t expecting it 🙂 Here’s the horrible photo I took:
