I wanted to share a bit about an artist whose work I admire–I found her on Instagram a few years ago, and it’s been cool to see her journey through college to creating art full-time. I love the details and fairytale/magic themes she brings to her work, and she also always shares the inspirations/references from which she bases her illustrations, so I’m always learning a lot, too. She recently shared a process on her Stories in which she drew/colored backgrounds with traditional media e.g. watercolor, colored pencil and then imported that into ProCreate to finish the tiny details. Really cool intersection of traditional/digital media, in a way that is almost unsusceptible to the viewer, that I would love to try sometime!
