As the year is almost over, the NYT decided to look back on the year 2019 in visual graphics. As always the use of visual media makes these stories more digestible, especially when it is a whole year in review. I think it’s a good way to keep track of how many things can happen in one year. Even when time feels like it’s flying by, particularly during COVID, huge things can be happening all over. I mean it may even be statistically improbable for 7 billion people to be on the planet and there not be cool and crazy and horrible things happening every day.
