I think Philly has some great examples of sculptures that fit the tiny monument theme. One features multiple sculptures that are based on board game pieces. There are tokens from games like chess, sorry, and monopoly. It was one of my favorite places to go as a child. The other is a massive clothespin.
I feel like making sculptures out of objects people know are small and are commonly used breaks expectations and there’s a lot of intrigue in that. Certainly enough for there to exist more than one tiny monument in the city of Philadelphia.
