World-renknown artists Takashi Murakami recently put up this tall statue at the Roppongi Hills complex and it reminded me of our intervention projects. Such a humongous statue demands the attention of anyone who passes by and sports the iconic design of Murakami’s flowers. The shining golden color is very visually appealing and I found that it would be worth sharing with the class.

What an interesting statue to have! I wish there were more playful and whimsical statues put up these days.

Super cute, I know Murakami’s best known for the rainbow ones so this gold one is really different and even a little festive 🙂
