Although some of us might not consider this art or design at first glance, as we’ve spent so much time exploring the conjunction between code/data and visualization, I think this is one of the coolest (and creepiest) applications of computational visual generation. 

This website uses AI to generate an infinite amount of photorealistic human faces, to the point where each face is virtually indistinguishable from a real photo. Although the machine isn’t yet perfect (it tends to make mistakes with things like glasses and teeth), I think the potential and/or consequences of this once it’s perfected could be huge.
