“Yet We Can’t Be Afraid To Live” by Miles Regis

I recently came across this page that features art made during this pandemic. After the discussions in class about the responsibility of artists to incite change as well as our exploration of Dada art, I have realized that another really important part of design and art is the ability to express history and situations in ways that others in the future or in different situations can connect with, understand, and learn from. I especially connected with the piece “Yet We Can’t Be Afraid To Live,” as I have struggled to find the balance between taking risks to enjoy life and staying safe.
