The Slow Factory is a foundation working toward securing human rights and environmental justice. Almost a year ago, they launched their One X One program, the first science incubator in fashion, where teams focused on circularity, human-centered design, and regenerative technologies. The board of advisors and the teams are both incredibly diverse in demographic and experience, and it’s a cool website to browse through. A bit more tangentially related to course content, but I think these types of organizations and programs are really incredible and are an impactful step within the world of art/fashion/design toward integrating sustainability into every part of the creative process.
