Award show season is evidently upon us. Following the sophisticated looks we recently saw at the Oscar Award Show, celebrities far and wide boasted their bold looks. Today I will be reviewing the best and worst dressed celebrities.
Dua Lipa:
The iconic pop singer sported a bondage-style Versace dress from the “Miss S&M” collection in the late 1900s. Other celebrities, including Beyoncé, have worn variations of this same dress to other events. I don’t dare to play the “Who Wore It Best” game here.
Lil Nas X:
In my opinion, the most eye-catching look from this night was Lil Nas X’s. Following his nomination for five Grammys, he stunted on the red carpet in the Balmain white pearl-studded suit with a butterfly embroidery at the center.
Chrissy Teigan and John Legend:
Chrissy Teigan and John Legend never fail to make moves as a couple. This time, Teigen showcased a beautiful pink gown from Nicole + Felicia Couture, while Legend allowed his wife to take the spotlight and wore a classy, simple blue suit, which apparently was in tribute to Ukraine.
Tayla Parx:
Now, moving on to the fails of the night. The singer-songwriter’s look faced a great amount of backlash. Some say she looked like she was dressed for an appearance at a Mario Kart arena. While I support bold wardrobe statements, this look would be better suited for Halloween.
Dillon Francis:
Another wardrobe flop at the Grammy’s goes to Dillon Francis. The DJ arrived in a T-shirt, vans, and black jeans whilst holding a bag of snacks from Walgreens. The intention behind this look is unclear, but I commend him for his choice of Little Bites.
