After working with the frame animation and video timeline tools in Photoshop, I was reminded of a YouTuber I used to follow consistently called Andymation.  He makes a bunch of flip books, which are just booklets of static images that gradually change from one to the next.  When you flip all the pages quickly, it looks like the images are moving, so you can create some cool short animations/stories.  Here are some of my favorite videos/flip books that he’s made:

It’s quite cool to think that virtually all digital scenes we see are nothing more than millions/billions of static images flashed in rapid succession to give the illusion of movement.  Flip books remind me of this (and are fun to make!)
