I was first exposed to Photoshop in a class I took in high school on digital imaging. In that class, many of our projects were up to our own discretion, and because of that, I spent a lot of time looking at YouTube photoshop tutorials. I was always interested at how there was so many tools and effects I had no idea how to use, and more importantly, the cool effects that could be achieved by using them.
For example, one of my favorite image effects I’ve seen in in Photoshop is the double exposure, where typically someone’s face is combined with a landscape, as in the picture shown below:
I really like how these “double exposures” often feel very thought provoking or profound, and how seamless the transition between person and landscape usually is.
