This article on creating art with code was very interesting to read through. I especially enjoyed the section on Code Poetry where the boundaries between linguistics and computational literature were blended in together. I think this highlights the extent to which technology and coding can blend into our lives in so many different areas. The argument made by the author that code poems are a “valid form of literary expression as any human language poetry” seemed to be very strong, as it may raise many different arguments or concerns about the “life” and power being given to technology.

This was a great read–I especially liked how it was a piece based on experience. The title of her article is also very creative and clever (making use of the == operator in code).
