JODI is one of the first artists to make art for the internet. My%Desktop, created in 2002, features looped videos of “desktop performances” recorded on an old Macintosh computer. JODI describes a computer as “a device to get into someone’s mind” as it exhibits the owner’s personality. These seemingly chaotic clips on this art installation are supposed to make the audience feel close to the person to who the screen belongs.

His website (http://wwwwwwwww.jodi.org/) is horrendously chaotic, yet what seems like computer glitches are supposed to resemble the chaotic action of the user.
