Malika Favre is one of my favourite illustrator and graphic artists and she’s famous for her ‘Pop Art meets Op Art’ style. She manipulates traditional optical illusions to create beautiful works celebrating women and their achievements. Her short animations reminded me a lot of our animation component of our collages, which is why I wanted to share this link to her works. I think her artistic choices are worth looking at because through very little animation, she is able to tell a whole story and paint a vivid image. Please scroll all the way down in the web page to view her full works!

Absolutely love these! A lot of your pieces for invisible cities seemed to be influenced by these and I think that’s really neat
