As we’re starting the Invisible Cities project, I immediately thought of this popular maze game I used to play which had the most beautiful graphics. The creator Ken Wong designed these perpetual motion machines that could be manipulated to help the main character find an exit in the game drawing inspiration from architecture around the world. Especially since the “city” structures he creates are always unique and each have their own ethereal quality, I felt like it relates to our current project in some way. I found this article that specifically goes through his ideation and planning process to create these structures, which I thought could serve as some inspiration for our current project.
