What I look forward to the most when the Oscars are held every year is what the actors and actresses would wear, and the fashion this time around does not disappoint. For me, the best dressed actress was Nicole Kidman, sporting a periwinkle silk bustier gown, accompanied by an interesting silhouette consisting of a peplum skirt and a grand bow with two long tails. Its silhouette is very classic, and illustrates a timeless beauty that quietly screams elegance. The color of the gown is my favorite part- it’s one of the prettiest colors I’ve seen, and even better, it complements the skin tones of Nicole extremely well.

I really love this dress! It reminds me of Cinderella, especially with its periwinkle color. I think the embellishments on the tail of the dress make this piece classic yet very standout.
