I have recently started watching more cooking shows, and was exposed to a chef by the name of Grant Achatz. He runs a 3 Michelin star restaurant in Chicago called Alinea and makes cuisine which I absolutely consider art. From apple flavored balloons filled with helium to salad served in the mud that it is still growing in and clear pumpkin pie, he is an innovator with both is ideas and plating.

Alinea is goated. I haven’t eaten there personally but I’ve heard a lot about it and Grant Achatz. I have actually driven by Aliena a few times and it’s crazy how low-key it is. They don’t have their name written anywhere on the building, they just put out a little sign around 6pm. They let their food do the talking which is sick.
