I saw this video a couple years ago and I was immediately reminded of it when we started discussing the latest “Sound Analysis” assignment. Nathalie Miebach collected storm data and other data points on natural phenomenon, and used it to guide the creation of a sculpture piece. Although her work was guided more by science and less by artistic planning, I thought it was interesting to see the final pieces of art.
