On the topic of filming public spaces/monuments, I wanted to share one of my favorite music videos from a couple years ago — APESHIT by The Carters. Beyonce and Jay-Z rented out the entire Louvre Museum for a night to film this video, and I think they make amazing use of the space in the video and make it their own. The editing is also amazing and really makes you reconsider both the works shown and the institution of the museum itself. My high school Art History teacher showed this to us on the first day of class, and we always used it as a reference point to talk about works we discussed in the class.
