There is a whole neighorhood in Miami dedicated to design and walking around was very inspiring. I saw quite a few new things that I wanted to share:
This art gallery had these cool resin pieces that make a collection of typically luxury items to make a collectable art piece.
This was a striking piece that led into the parking garage in the center courtyard of the neighborhood. It looked like straight out of a sci-fi movie.
This was the overview of the new LV pop up for the 2021 winter season of clothes. It was huge and used small showrooms placed strategically in cargo containers which is an unconventional method of displaying fashion.
We also checked out Virgil Abloh’s new futuristic collaboration for the home called @basic.space in collaboration with the Vitra Museum and UK college students. They had individualized bricks, vintage lamps, and sustainable chairs, like the one pictured above.
