While reading this article about what “programming art” was, it seemed like all the other articles I read about intersecting coding and art: how it was a novel idea with the potential of flourishing in this generation. However, I was taken aback when the author posed the question of whether coding can hold back creativity. Part of me believes it does because I feel that coding is very structured while the other part of me believes coding can enhance artwork by adding detailed patterns. What are everyone’s thoughts on this?
