After starting our new “Data Visualization” project, I did a bit of googling to see how artists who are much more experienced at using Java code are making art. I came across this website (https://devart.withgoogle.com/) where they specifically showcase art made with code, curate virtual galleries, and host competitions for young creators to participate.
You can filter through artworks by coding language, the type of “toolkits” used, as well as platforms. The really neat part about this platform is that artists often include a sample code so that you can recreate parts of their artworks as well and modify it. Definitely go check them out if you’re looking for inspiration as we move forward in our project!
