NFTs have been a trending on digital platforms, and is becoming a new pipeline to success for upcoming artists. NFTs are non-fungible tokens in which each item (token) is unique, and can be bought through cryptocurrency only.
13 year old Nyla Hayes has had a foothold on this platform with her drawings that combine her love for Brontosauruses and women. Not only do each of her drawings represent woman icons- from Lucille Ball to Ruth Bader- but they also represent everyday women. The distinct feature of her portraits though, is the elongated necks. This signature feature was inspired by her love for Brontosaurus dinosaur when she was younger.
Putting two things that she loves together- brontosauruses and women- Nyla aims to empower women by showing how beautiful and strong they are. Here are examples of some of her works:
