If you haven’t heard of her already, Archillect [archive + intellect], is an online AI that acts as a curator that collects and shares stimulating digital photographs over social media. Her creators call her a “living inspiration archive,” and a “digital muse.” The algorithm at work behind Archillect is a set of keywords that assist her in mining through the internet for what the internet favors. In other words, the algorithm seeks images that will gain the most attention or the most “likes” on social medial. After a post is shared, the algorithm records the number of interactions with the post as feedback and alters itself. The process is entirely automated, which then makes the collection of photos on their social media all the more interesting. Follow her on Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Facebook, or Pinterest to see her work.

Personally, I think Archillect’s collection of clips overlayed with music– or what she calls TV– on their main webpage is insanely cool and an experience in itself. I highly recommend checking it out!
