When watching “To All The Boys” movies I found it interesting that there was a turquoise filter put on all the movies. This is similar to the color scheme of 80s movies which relates to the movies that the main character Lara is passionate about. There are also color blocks of saturated pink, blue, and yellow. The pink color is present during scenes of romance and vulnerability. I find it interesting how colors can not only connect the themes of different scenes but emphasize the emotion of each scene.
