After using processing extensively during the last project, I was reminded of the various other coding tools I encounter that allow me to produce well-designed documents. The first is markdown, the language the powers most documentation of code bases on hosting sites like Github. Another is Latex, the language that I spend extensive time on to typeset my computer science homework. Looking back, I could see how important of a role these “code to design” tools have been during the last few years.
