Here is a very interesting video of an 2019 NYU Law event that brought together international policymakers, human rights practitioners, leading academics and representatives from technology companies to discuss the relevance of the international human rights law framework in a world increasingly dominated by digital technologies.
I was assigned this video a few weeks ago from my International Human Rights course and I find our current discussions about design in the digital age (where we rarely have privacy or complete ownership of the photos we post on social media anymore) very relevant to the themes discussed here.
Overall, it’s an interesting topic to explore and learn about, especially as it pertains to almost all of us.
