The video is in Arabic, and unfortunately, it does not have captions. The purpose is to get a feel of what the museum looks like.

Our discussion in class of The Happy Show by Stefan Sagmeister reminded me of the recent Happiness Museum in Saudi Arabia. The museum consists of 10 rooms with different designs. The main colors are yellow, pink, and red. The objective is to raise people’s happiness hormones through a visual and an emotional experience, and there is minimal text.

I found it interesting that the museum incorporated one of Stefan Sagmeister’s works, however, they reduced the scale from 10 levels to 5 levels.

The Happiness Museum in Denmark, on the other hand, focuses on text to raise people’s happiness. The museum focuses on yellow and requires participants to engage through reading and analyzing the pieces of art.

While the two museums have the same goal, they achieve it through different styles of art and even different experiences.
